“Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about helping you reconnect with your strength, your wisdom, and the parts of yourself that already know how to heal.”

Being a human can be hard at the best of times and there is no one size fits all when it comes to therapy. We all move through life differently and carry visible and invisible burdens. It is my privilege to witness your journey and hold space for reflection and growth. No matter where you’ve been or where you’re going, I believe you have everything you need to succeed. It’s not about fixing you, it's about finding you. When we can show up as our authentic selves and recognize our own strength and resilience, anything is possible. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain. As a therapist, this quote captures what I love most about working with clients to help them not only survive life’s challenges, but thrive amidst them.

I value collaboration, empowerment, and transparency in my work. You are the expert of your own life and I am here to meet you exactly where you are. My greatest teachers in doing this work have been my horses. The safety and peace that horses have given me inspired me to pursue a career in mental health. Time and time again, these amazing creatures have helped to guide me through the storms of my own life, not through words but through their grounded presence. They have taught me that it’s ok to be afraid, and that above all we have to listen to ourselves and honour what our body is telling us. In my practice, I draw from a range of modalities and approaches to best suit each client’s individual needs. I look forward to walking alongside you, both metaphorically and literally, to help you navigate life’s ups and downs.

Outside of work, I can be found getting my hands dirty in the barn or keeping my hands busy knitting. I also enjoy reading in the park and hitting the trails on my bike. I love the Hamilton community and am always finding new places and events to connect with. I spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy coming up with nature-based metaphors to help better understand the human experience."
