This is completely up to you and is unique for each person we work with.
Some people find that weekly sessions are helpful, others find that coming bi-weekly or monthly visits fit better with their schedule. When coming regularly, most people report noticing change(s) after 8–10 sessions. Some people prefer to go with "lifestyle" counselling, where they pop in when needed.
We typically suggest you attend therapy weekly for at least a month, so your therapist can gain an understanding of your life, background, and current challenges. Then, perhaps you switch to bi-weekly for several months. After this time, we will work together to come up with a treatment schedule that fits your goals and lifestyle.
However, therapy at Noia Wellness is designed to be personalized. Book a free consultation today to chat more with us.

Walk & Talk Nature Therapy is essentially the same as in-person or virtual therapy, just outside! Please note: walk & talk therapy is only offered to returning clients. If you're a new client and interested in walking, we require an initial session, plus a follow-up session before starting walk & talk therapy.
-
We do not bill directly to insurance companies. You can, however, submit your receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement of some services. Check with your insurance to see if Registered Psychotherapy is covered. If you're interested in Walk & Talk therapy, we also suggest double-checking with your provider to see if "gentle walking, registered psychotherapy" is covered.

Psychotherapy is a form of mental health treatment where a trained professional, a registered psychotherapist, works with individuals to help them understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. At Noia Wellness, our focus is on providing a holistic approach to psychotherapy, integrating traditional talk therapy with other psychotherapy treatment interventions. We work with clients to identify patterns and beliefs that may be impacting their mental health, while also incorporating body-based interventions to reduce stress in the nervous system and promote self-awareness. Psychotherapy can help individuals work through a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and nervous system disruption. At Noia Wellness, we believe in providing compassionate and personalized care to help our clients lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, ensuring they feel seen and heard for who they truly are.
